Breathwork Journey— A Reset for the Soul

Circular Breathwork moves trapped energy out of the body with somatic cleansing and clearing. This assists us in our ability to see, hear, feel, and know on a higher level. Our expanded state of consciousness can work through us and for us into release, insight, clarity, and more love. This Breathwork Journey is not pranayama or box breathing. It is a deep dive into your consciousness to reset your body and mind. This gets you back on track with your life journey.

Herbal Remedies for Sports and Athletic Injuries

In this course we discuss various types of injuries, including sprains, tears, and broken bones, and the stages of healing from acute to chronic. We will look at single herbs and formulas, used both internally and topically to treat injuries in the various stages of the healing process.

The herbs and formulas discussed will be focused in the Chinese herbal apothecary with a history of use in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and martial arts, as well as some Western herbs. In addition, we will all prepare a topical herbal remedy that students can take home for their own use.

About Teacher: In 2020, Tyler completed a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and Master's of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM) at San Francisco's American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM). Afterwards, he completed the Neuro-Meridian Integrative Acupuncture program with Dr. Poney Chiang. In 2014, he completed a three year program and received a certificate in Western herbal medicine from the Berkeley Herbal Center. At the same time, he completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training to strengthen his knowledge around the eight limbs of yoga and how they can be applied to clinical practice. Dr. Tyler's practice Sage Against the Disease is located in Temescal, sageagainstthedisease.com.
