Yoga for the Queer Community

  • Banana Yoga Oakland (map)

Class is centered around LGBTQ2IA+ community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual/Pansexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Same-Gender Loving and Two-Spirit communities) and allies.

This is a space to liberate yourself from the idea that you need to fix yourself, to be worthy of good things. You deserve attention, and love just as you are. This empowering class offers a slow nourishing, low impact flow, with lots of self-love infused. When your body isn’t what society deems as good or worthy, it can be hard (even painful) to just live in the skin your in.

Mindful movement has been proven to help feel more present, accepting, and alive in our bodies. The mighty, the meek, and the bones that creek. This yoga is for everyone regardless of size, age, or gender.
